One of the globes biggest bass producers will be hitting the decks for the launch of the 5Five record label.
The 5Five is a Bungalow based imprint and studio, and will launching their brand with guest icon producer FreQ Nasty, and new releases from Tegan Koster Project and The Don Johnson Butlers.
FreQ Nasty is considered a pioneer of the Breakbeat and Bass Music genres.
Born in Fiji, raised in New Zealand and formed musically in the electronic music revolution of London in the late 90’s, his ‘Boomin Back Atcha’ single was a defining moment in what was to become the global breakbeat movement.
He has since collaborated with a diverse line-up of artists including Santigold, Fatboy Slim, Professor Green, Kelis, Roots Manuava and KRS One.
The 5Five is a humble imprint and studio punching out a DIY brand of music, merchandise and good times. The launch will feature two the labels quirky acts: The Don Johnson Butlers and Tegan Koster Project.
Support DJ’s on the night are our 5Five favorites Whichway, Madame Mañana, Daddy Long Legs and Mr Tarago, while The 5Five will also launch a bunch of merchandise treats including cassette releases, T-shirts and a bunch more.
